Managing your CU Account

Before deploying overseas, here are some steps you may want to consider regarding your ANSAC account:

  1. Check Account Access: Ensure you have online access to your account. This will allow you to manage your finances remotely.
  2. Notify us: Inform ANSAC Credit Union about your deployment by giving us a call on 018554489 or dropping us an email to info@ansaccu.ie. This can help prevent any issues with your account or current account debit card while you are overseas.
  3. Review Your Account: Check for any pending transactions or bills that need to be addressed before you leave.
  4. Consider International Transactions: If you plan to use your ANSAC debit card overseas, ensure it is set up for international use and check for any fees associated with foreign transactions.
  5. Update Contact Information: Make sure your contact details are up to date in case we need to reach you while you are away.  You can also notify us if you have a local phone number that we can contact you on should the need arise.
  6. Consider boosting your savings.   Deployment overseas can be a great time to save extra money.  To arrange this before you leave, send us an enquiry instruction form via our online banking or written instruction as an email attachment to: info@ansaccu.ie /by post to: ANSAC Credit Union Ltd., 18 Drumcondra Road Upper, Drumcondra, Dublin 9.  Include your name, membership number, how much you want to increase your savings by and from when along with your signature.
