Funding Christmas poll

It's that time of year again and thoughts are turning to Christmas nights out, who'll go where for Christmas dinner and who you have to buy for.

Last week, we launched a mini survey via our Facebook and Instagram Pages asking our members how they'll fund Christmas this year.  Thanks to the 80 odd of you who jumped in and participated!

As a Credit Union, we're delighted to see such high numbers actively budgeting for the festive season and that a good bit of saving is going on.

We were also unsurprised that common challenges do exist when it comes to setting aside the money individuals need to cover it all financially.  Namely, inflation, unexpected expenses and balancing the bills with regular saving.

While 8% said they mainly rely on credit to cover Christmas (credit cards & personal loans).  Overall 74% said they'd used a Credit Union Loan at some point or another.

As you all know at this stage, we are here if you need us with our 6.9% Welcome Loan / 7.9% Annual Loan being the best options for this kind of expenditure.

Keep up the budgeting & don't be tempted to overspend!
