Meet the Staff: Rachel Kearns Member Services & Insurance Officer
Intro: 👋 Say hello to Rachel, one of the friendly faces behind our Member Services team! Although part-time, Rachel wears many hats among them setting up & supporting new members, overseeing all Life Saving Insurance and Loan Protection Insurance matters, fulfilling her duties as a member of the ANSAC Membership and Credit Committees. Let’s get to know her a little better…
Q1. How long have you worked for ANSAC?
Apart from a short break for family reasons – I am working in ANSAC 31 years.
Q2. How has the place changed over that time?
Hugely!!! We started out in a TINY office that was up three floors in 136 Capel Street.
Q3. What does a typical workday look like for you?
Busy! It is always busy which I love – it can be anything from opening an account for a newborn to speaking to a bereaved family member.

Q5. What’s your favourite part of being part of the ANSAC Team?
I love the fact that we all get on – work has to be done but doing it with people that you get on with is great.
Q6. What’s one fun fact about you that most members wouldn’t know?
I fell up the steps in front of a full double decker bus at our old building in Amiens Street, TWICE!!! So I am glad we moved 😂
