Stay alert to phishing and fraud attempts
We are reminding all members to stay alert to phishing and fraud attempts.
ANSAC Credit Union will never ask you for your PIN, passwords, one-time passcodes or online banking log-in details. We will never ask you to reupload your passport, driving licence or other ID documents through a link in an email or text message, and we will never ask you to move money to a "safe" account.
If you receive an unexpected call, text, email or social media message that claims to be from us, do not reply or click any links. Contact us directly using the phone number on our website or your statement. If you think
you may have shared your details, call us straight away on 01-8554489.
Additional anti-fraud measure
We've introduced an extra layer of verification for new external payees. Any time you set up a new external payee, you will receive a call from us, during our normal office hours, to verify it is a genuine request.
Again if you have any queries on this please don't hesitate to contact us on 01-8554489.
