To access your ANSAC account while overseas, you can follow these steps:
1. Application Method: You can apply for an ANSAC loan online through our website or via the ANSAC App.
2. Access Funds: Once approved, you can access your funds via our online services.
3. Documentation: Ensure you have the necessary documentation ready, which may include proof of income and bank statements, especially if you are applying for an unsecured loan above €7,000.
4. No Early Repayment Penalties: Remember, there are no penalties for early loan repayments.

Yes, your ANSAC Debit Card will work while serving overseas. Here are some important tips to ensure hassle-free usage: Notify us that you'll travelling otherwise your card could get blocked/
Pay in Local Currency: When using your debit card abroad, opt to pay in the local currency rather than your home currency to avoid unfavourable exchange rates and additional fees.
Carry Local Currency: Consider carrying some local currency as a backup, especially in remote areas where debit card acceptance may be limited.
Keep Your Card Secure: Always keep your debit card within sight when making purchases to minimise the risk of theft.
Protect Your PIN: Be vigilant about shielding your PIN when using your debit card at ATMs or point-of-sale terminals.

Before you travel register for online banking with us if you don't already have it.
Next we recommend that you make sure you know your ANSAC pin and membership number and have the App downloaded on your phone before you travel.
Provided you can go online on your phone you will be able to use the App as normal.
Yes the easiest way to apply for an ANSAC loan while serving overseas is via our App.
Again make sure that you're registered for online banking with us and that you know your ANSAC Pin, Membership number and have our App downloaded before you travel.
To do this we will require written instruction from you.
This can be provided via the 'Enquiry Instruction Form' available to you when you login to your online banking.
Alternatively you can send us in a letter as an attachment to an email to: info@ansaccu.ie
